A 1936 graduate of Saint Mary’s Hall (SMH), Ruth Taylor Campbell was a generous supporter of SMH for her entire life. Each year, two rising freshmen receive the Major General Daniel S. and Ruth Taylor Campbell Scholarship, a gift from Ruth and her husband.

As a student at Saint Mary’s Hall (SMH), Susan Maria Jones Gresham Davidge ’41 set a powerful example for future generations of SMH students. Her son, Rupert Neely Gresham, Jr., established the Susan Gresham Davidge Scholarship to make an SMH education possible for students.
